This is a reupload of my previous folder of shows, with a few that were missing from it and improved sound quality on others. "Complete" in the title means that all known episodes that are available to the public after 60+ years are included.
In 1953, Marian Jordan's periodic health problems necessitated the shortening of Fibber McGee and Molly
into a nightly fifteen-minute program, recorded without a studio
audience in single sessions, the better to enable Jordan to rest. This prevented the show from being cancelled altogether, and it ran for three more years. The 15-minute shows can take some getting used to for the average Fibber fan who's only heard the regular series, as along with the shortened time the show also scrapped Harlow Wilcox, Gale Gordon and other supporting actors, along with the orchestra, audience and the closet gag (though the gag was actually used a total of twice during this time). The remaining cast included Arthur Q. Bryan as Doc Gamble, and Bill Thompson as the Old Timer and Wallace Wimple. Joining them were two new characters, Lester and Sally Nelson, the McGee's new neighbors.
